# Installation

**Moda Better Items Installation Guide:**

1.Download Mod File:

* To download the mod, go to this link <https://bit.ly/cruseforge-betteritems> or <https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/better-item-by-gamermilosz> (Maybe Two Pages Lead to One)
* Click Download:&#x20;

* Select Versions and Your Engine:

* Click Download File
* After Downloading Click Win + R'
* Enter "%appdata%"

* Click OK
* A directory should open. Open the .minecraft folder there
* Select the Mods Directory (If you don't have a Mods Directory, it means you don't have Forge installed!). You don't know how to install Forge, check out there are plenty of guides on the Internet.
* We move the downloaded mod to the Mods directory
* I turn on minecraft and it's ready, enjoy the new mod.
